Hi, I’m Mau Vera.

By day, I’m a Product Manager, someone who spends an unreasonable amount of time thinking about why people do what they do, and how to build things they’ll actually care about. The question that drives most of my work is simple: how do we delight people?

That question doesn’t stay inside work hours.

I’ve had the chance to build products across very different worlds: big financial institutions, tech companies, and fast-growing startups. What sticks with me isn’t the industry. It’s how culture shapes what gets made, how ideas travel, and how a single conversation can change the direction of something millions of people will use.

Outside of work, I read a lot, cook, hike, dabble in wood carving, and have strong opinions about musical theater. My interests shift constantly, and I’ve stopped apologizing for it. If anything, that’s the whole point of this place.
